Fribourg,

welcomes Kayema as Israeli Network Partner
SiRi Company welcomes Kayema Investments as SiRi’s
Network Partner in Israel. Kayema offers individual and institutional
investors, as well as government and non-government organizations,
a variety of services including:
- independent research on the performance of Israeli
publicly traded companies according to international sustainability
standards;
- consulting to provident and pension funds and
other institutional investors;
- strategic advice to fund managers seeking to
create investment funds according to sustainable indices.
Until now, investors interested in investing in Israeli companies
did not have objective sustainability ratings for these companies
upon which they could base their investments. For the first
time ever, investors now have access to objective ratings
of the largest companies listed on the Israeli stock exchange
under the TASE (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange) 25 index.
Kayema’s analysis of the TASE 25 companies indicates
that there is a growing awareness of the importance of corporate
social responsibility among Israeli companies. For example,
out of twentyfive companies on the TASE 25 list, twelve have
an official ethical code. On the other hand, there is still
much room for improvement, as some companies have been cited
for human rights violations against cleaning staff and guards
and other serious ethical violations.
